Dr. Margie Amos, MD, FACOG
Dr. Margie Amos is a board-certified OB/GYN whose philosophy of care centers on collaboration, combining her medical expertise with each patient’s own knowledge, preferences, and goals to create truly individualized care plans. Her clinical passions include family planning, contraceptive care, basic infertility, and comprehensive prenatal support.
Originally from the Pittsburgh area, Margie completed her undergraduate degree at Denison University and attended medical school in Cincinnati before moving to Denver in 2007. She completed her residency training at St. Joseph Hospital and has been in private practice at Rocky Mountain Women’s Care for the past 14 years. She lives in central Denver with her husband & son, and enjoys the full range of Colorado’s outdoor activities, especially skiing, hiking, and golfing.
Recognizing the essential role of pelvic health in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Amos has built strong connections with pelvic floor therapy teams, including OWN Your Pelvic Health, to ensure her patients receive the highest quality interdisciplinary care. She is passionate about increasing access to pelvic floor therapy - an area often challenged by time constraints and insurance limitations but vital to recovery after pregnancy, birth, and surgery.
As a board member of The OWN Project, Dr. Amos brings invaluable clinical insight and advocacy for integrated women’s health. She is committed to helping the nonprofit expand access to pelvic floor therapy, doula services, and comprehensive wellness support for individuals in the Denver community. She is thrilled to contribute to a mission that aligns so closely with her values and the needs she sees every day in her clinical practice.
