Colorado Gives Day Is Almost Here: Here's How to Double Your Impact

Mark your calendar: Colorado Gives Day 2026 is Tuesday, December 8: the state's biggest day of giving, and one of the best days all year to support The OWN Project. Here's how to make your gift go even further.

There's a $1 million+ incentive fund

On Colorado Gives Day, a statewide incentive fund of more than $1 million is added on top of everything donors give. Every nonprofit that receives a gift gets a proportional boost from that fund, which means your donation to OWN goes further on this day than on any other.

You don't have to wait until December 8

Early giving opens November 1. Any gift made between November 1 and December 8 counts toward Colorado Gives Day- including the incentive boost. You can give the moment it's convenient, schedule it in advance, and then forget about it.

How to give

When early giving opens, you'll find us on ColoradoGives.org — just search for The OWN Project, choose your amount, and you're done. A quick reminder of what your gift does: $150 funds a pelvic floor therapy visit, and $1,200 provides full doula support for a birth. On Colorado Gives Day, that impact goes even further.

One more easy win: employer matching

Ask your employer whether they match charitable donations. Between a company match and the incentive fund, your gift can do two or three times the work.
